Meeting. Volunteer Day. Adopt.

Happy Earth Day! I hope you are out on the trails enjoying the weather and the fact that WE HAVE TRAILS TO HIKE ON. Lucky us.

A few tidbits for your consideration:

1. We will have a full Friends meeting on TUESDAY MAY 8 from 7-8 (or 8:30 if needed). Please plan to come as we have much to discuss. The meeting will be held in the Forest Room of the Community Center. Bring a friend.

2. Our second Saturday volunteering efforts are doing wonders, however, we need new blood! We have a rock solid core group, but would LOVE to see some new faces now and then. Do plan on joining us on Saturday May 12, June 9 or July 14 from 9-Noon (or 11 depending on the task at hand). It's fun and it feels great to contribute a few hours to the cause we all care about.

3. Next Sunday April 29 from 11-2 the City of Mill Valley is honoring all volunteer groups who do good in our town. Many awesome volunteer organizations will be represented, including The Friends of Mill Valley's Steps Lanes and Paths! We could use a couple of additional folks to join Bill Lang and others sharing the love with other residents - easy work for an hour or so.

KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE WILL BE MUSIC AND A BEER GARDEN AT THE FREE EVENT! FUN.
